Who are we?
CGS Records is housed in the historic RCA Victor building in the heart of Nashville’s Music Row - the birthplace of "Outlaw Country." We are an independent record label that features what we like to call, "Outlaw Gospel" music. The term outlaw in the context of country music, and now gospel music, simply means nonconformist. We do not conform to any particular musical sound, formula, approach, or any other music business “norm.”
You likely will not find our music on Christian or Gospel radio stations, nor would you typically find it within worship music playlists. The label features artists who happen to be believers, and whose songs chiefly come out of their life experiences. [READ MORE]
